In-app Help (F1)
FIRDesign ships with a comprehensive, searchable manual that covers purpose, concepts, the workspace, measuring & correcting, and a full reference.
Open it from the toolbar ?, press F1, or use the contextual ? buttons beside the auto-functions. It's rendered natively, so it's always available — no internet needed.

How do I activate the full version?
After purchase you receive a license key (and a key file) by email. In FIRDesign, open Activate…, paste the key or load the file, and restart the app. Activation is fully offline — no login or server. See the download page for the step-by-step.
Which platforms are supported?
Native installers for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (x64), and Linux (arm64 and x86_64, as deb / rpm / AppImage). Each installer is self-contained — nothing else to install.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. FIRDesign installs once and runs as a trial in which every feature works except project save and impulse export (shown but locked), with "(Trial)" in the title. Download it here and unlock later with a license key.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are handled by our storefront (the merchant of record), and refunds are processed through it. If something isn't right, email us at support@formantus.com and we'll sort it out.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. FIRDesign runs fully offline, collects no data, and never phones home. License activation is offline too. See our privacy policy for details.
Will my license keep working for future updates?
Yes — all 1.x updates are free for license holders. The next major version (2.0) will be a paid upgrade, offered to existing owners at around half price. See pricing.
