Terms & License
The agreement covering your purchase and use of FIRDesign.
This is a starting template, not legal advice. It will be reviewed and finalised before launch.
1. License grant
When you purchase FIRDesign, Formantus grants you a perpetual, personal, non-exclusive license to install and use the software. The license is tied to you (the purchaser) and covers your personal use of the version you bought, including all updates within the same major version (1.x).
2. One purchase, no subscription
FIRDesign is sold as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing recurring to cancel. A future major version (for example 2.0) may be offered as a separate paid upgrade.
3. Payments and merchant of record
Sales are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, billing and any applicable taxes, and your purchase is also subject to its terms.

4. Restrictions
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent or share the software or your license key, and you may not share, publish or otherwise make your license key available to others. You may not attempt to circumvent the trial limitations or the license activation, nor reverse-engineer the software except where such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
5. Ownership
FIRDesign and all related intellectual property remain the property of Formantus. This license does not transfer ownership of the software to you.
6. No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the software at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Formantus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the software. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
8. Termination
This license remains in effect for as long as you comply with these terms. If you materially breach them, the license may be terminated, in which case you must stop using the software.
9. Support

10. Changes
We may update these terms; the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
